Business requirements in. Working code out.

I grew up in Stavanger, Norway. After a one-year business program at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, I did my bachelor's degree at the University of Agder in Kristiansand. Business first, then software: that combination is probably why I've always gravitated toward the overlap between the two. I stayed in Kristiansand for my first job, as a Solution Consultant at Tietoevry working on business systems, before transferring to their Stavanger office for my final few months there, closer to family ahead of a master's in software engineering at the University of Wollongong in Australia. After completing my master's degree, I relocated to Canada in 2024 and now work as a Systems Analyst at Tronia Systems in the Edmonton area, where ERP analysis and integration make up the core of the job.

I build and integrate systems that handle credit data, B2B order flows, and high-volume logistics workflows, most recently for close to 400 agricultural retailers and grain terminals across North America. It's work that sits right at the business and IT boundary: translating how an operation actually runs into something a system can support.

Outside of that, I like problems that sit at the intersection of legacy business systems and modern tooling: where a decades-old process meets a cloud platform, and something has to bridge the two.
